How much do I earn per referral?+
25% commission on every charge made by people who sign up through your link — recurring for the full lifetime of their subscription. A referred Pro Yearly customer at $297/year earns you $74.25 every year, for every year they stay subscribed.
How long is the tracking window?+
60 days. If someone clicks your link and subscribes within 60 days, the commission is yours. Cookie plus localStorage fallback.
Do Lifetime Deals (LTD) count?+
Yes. You earn a one-time 25% commission on any MarketGeist Lifetime Deal purchased through your link, paid in the same monthly batch as subscription commissions.
What about iPhone/iOS purchases?+
iOS in-app purchases are excluded. Apple's App Store rules prohibit paying affiliates out of IAP revenue. Only Stripe purchases on marketgeist.com count — which is where 99% of our revenue comes from anyway.
How and when do I get paid?+
We pay out monthly via PayPal or bank transfer once your approved balance clears the $50 minimum. Commissions move from pending to approved 30 days after the charge (refund window), then get paid in the next payout batch.
What if someone refunds?+
If a customer refunds within 30 days, the commission is voided automatically before it's approved. After approval, commissions are locked in.
Can I refer myself?+
No. Self-referrals are blocked. But you can absolutely refer your teammates — if they buy from their own Stripe customer, it counts.
