MarketGeist User Guide

Everything you need to know to turn MarketGeist into your competitive advantage. This guide covers every feature — from workspaces and AI-powered intelligence reports to real-time monitoring and system integrations.

Explain Like I'm 5
Imagine you have a super-smart research assistant who never sleeps. You tell them what market you care about, and they go out and read thousands of articles, financial reports, social media posts, and patent filings — then come back with a neat summary of what matters and what you should do next. That's MarketGeist. This guide teaches you how to talk to that assistant and get the best answers.

What Is MarketGeist?

MarketGeist is a continuous AI market intelligence platform. It automates the research that strategy teams, product managers, and business developers spend hours doing manually — competitor tracking, trend analysis, market sizing, SEO audits, news monitoring, and more. Instead of juggling ten different tools, you get a single platform that synthesizes intelligence from dozens of data sources and presents it as actionable decisions.

How It All Fits Together

MarketGeist is organized into four major areas. Think of them as concentric circles: Workspaces sit at the center (your strategic command center), Intelligence tools feed data into them, Monitoring keeps watch 24/7, and System tools connect everything to your existing workflow.

Getting Started in 5 Minutes

1

Sign up and pick a plan

Create your account at marketgeist.com. The Starter plan includes 5 reports/month and 3 competitor profiles — enough to evaluate the platform.

2

Create your first workspace

Go to Dashboard → Workspace and click "New Workspace." Name it after the market or decision you're researching (e.g., "Q3 EU Expansion" or "AI Chatbot Market").

3

Run your first intelligence report

Inside the workspace, open the Canvas and drag an intelligence node (like "Market Report" or "Competitor Analysis") onto the board. Fill in the intake form and let MarketGeist's AI do the deep research.

4

Review and iterate

Read the structured output — executive summary, opportunities, threats, recommended actions. Use the AI Assistant chat to ask follow-up questions about the data.

5

Set up monitoring

Head to Monitoring → Alerts to create rules that watch for competitor changes, pricing moves, or trending keywords. You'll get notified automatically when something important happens.
