Market Pulse

Market Pulse is a real-time dashboard that shows the health and momentum of your tracked markets at a glance. Think of it as a vital signs monitor for your market landscape — showing what's trending up, stable, or declining across multiple dimensions.

Explain Like I'm 5
When you go to the doctor, they check your heartbeat, temperature, and blood pressure to see if you're healthy. Market Pulse does the same thing for markets. It checks the "heartbeat" of your market — are companies hiring? Is search interest growing? Are people investing? — and shows you a simple dashboard: "This market is healthy and growing" or "This market is slowing down."

What Does It Do?

Market Pulse aggregates multiple data signals — news volume, social mentions, search trends, funding activity, hiring data, and stock performance — into a unified health score for each of your tracked markets. The dashboard shows trends over time so you can see whether a market is accelerating, stable, or cooling.

Why It Matters

At-a-glance health check — know the state of all your tracked markets in 30 seconds
Early trend detection — declining pulse scores often precede visible market downturns by 2–3 months
Resource allocation — invest more attention and budget in markets with rising pulse scores
Meeting preparation — pull up Market Pulse before leadership meetings for instant market status updates
Historical trends — compare current market health to previous quarters to identify cyclical patterns

How to Use Market Pulse

1

Go to Dashboard → Market Pulse

2

Review the health scores

Each market shows an overall pulse score (0–100) and individual dimension scores for news activity, social buzz, search interest, funding, and hiring.

3

Check trend direction

Arrows and sparklines show whether each metric is trending up, stable, or down compared to the previous period.

4

Drill into specific markets

Click a market card to see detailed time-series data, underlying data points, and AI-generated analysis of what's driving the current pulse.

Pro Tip
Set a calendar reminder to check Market Pulse every Monday morning. The 30-second scan gives you situational awareness that colors all your decisions for the week. If you see a market's pulse dropping, it might be time to run a fresh Decision Report to understand what's changing.
