SEO Intelligence

The SEO tool provides three capabilities: website technical audits, keyword research with opportunity scoring, and ongoing keyword ranking tracking. Use it to understand your own digital presence — or analyze competitors' search visibility.

Explain Like I'm 5
When you search for something on Google, some websites show up at the top and others are buried on page 10. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the art of getting your website to show up higher. MarketGeist's SEO tool is like having x-ray vision for Google — it shows you which words people are searching for, who's winning for those words, and what you need to fix on your website to climb higher.

Three SEO Capabilities

1. Website Audit

Run a comprehensive technical SEO audit on any website. MarketGeist scans the site's structure, meta tags, load speed, mobile readiness, internal linking, and content quality — then produces a scored assessment with specific fix recommendations.

SEO Audit Score — Example
CategoryScoreIssues FoundPriority Fixes
Technical Health78/10012 issues3 broken canonical tags, 2 missing alt texts
Content Quality85/1005 opportunitiesThin content on 3 product pages
Mobile Experience92/1002 issuesCLS shift on hero section
Page Speed71/1008 issuesUnoptimized images (avg 2.4MB)
Internal Linking68/10015 opportunitiesOrphaned pages need cross-links
Overall Score79/10042 totalFocus on page speed and internal links first

2. Keyword Research

Enter a topic or seed keyword, and MarketGeist returns a list of related keywords with search volume, difficulty, CPC data, and opportunity scores. The AI identifies "sweet spot" keywords — high volume but low competition — where you have the best chance of ranking.

Keyword Research — Example Results
KeywordMonthly VolumeDifficultyCPCOpportunity
ev charging stations near me165,000High (78)$2.40Medium

ev charging franchise opportunities3,600Low (22)$4.50Very High

3. Keyword Tracking

Add keywords to your tracking list and MarketGeist monitors your ranking position over time. See trends, detect ranking drops before they become traffic drops, and compare your positions against competitors for the same keywords.

Why SEO Intelligence Matters

Market demand signal — search volume reveals real consumer intent and demand, not just surveys
Competitive visibility — see exactly which keywords competitors rank for and you don't
Content strategy — keyword research tells you what topics your audience cares about most
Website health — audits catch technical issues that silently hurt your traffic
Trend detection — rising search volumes for new terms signal emerging market shifts

How to Use SEO Tools

1

Go to Dashboard → SEO

The SEO page has three tabs: Audits, Keyword Research, and Keyword Tracker.

2

Run an audit (Audits tab)

Enter a URL and click "Audit." The scan takes 30–60 seconds and produces a scored report with prioritized fix recommendations.

3

Research keywords (Keyword Research tab)

Enter a seed keyword or topic. MarketGeist returns related keywords with volume, difficulty, and opportunity scores.

4

Track keywords (Keyword Tracker tab)

Add your most important keywords and your domain. MarketGeist checks rankings daily and alerts you to significant changes.

Pro Tip
Run an SEO Audit on your top 3 competitors' websites, not just your own. The audit reveals their content strategy (what topics they've invested in), their technical strengths (load speed, mobile), and their weaknesses (gaps you can exploit). This is one of the highest-ROI competitive intelligence activities.
