News Intelligence

The News tool aggregates and filters articles from hundreds of industry sources, press releases, and financial news outlets — giving you a curated, AI-categorized feed of market-relevant developments.

Explain Like I'm 5
Think of it as a magical newspaper that only shows you the articles you care about. Instead of reading through hundreds of boring stories, MarketGeist reads them all for you and picks out the ones about your market, your competitors, or your industry. It even puts them in categories like "product launch," "funding round," or "regulation change" so you can find what matters fast.

What Does It Do?

The News feed ingests articles from 500+ sources every 2 hours, applies AI classification (event type, industry, sentiment, relevance), and presents them in a filterable timeline. You can filter by company, industry, event type (M&A, product launch, earnings, regulation, funding), geography, and source. A trending panel highlights the most-discussed stories.

Why It Matters

Speed — know about market developments within hours, not days
Signal vs. noise — AI filters out irrelevant articles, showing only what affects your market
Event categorization — instantly see which news items are product launches vs. funding rounds vs. regulatory changes
Trend detection — the trending panel shows stories getting unusual attention across multiple sources
Competitive awareness — track when competitors appear in the news and what the coverage says
