Social Trends

Social Trends monitors trending topics, discussions, and sentiment across Reddit, X/Twitter, TikTok, and Google Trends — giving you a real-time pulse on what consumers and professionals are talking about in your market.

Explain Like I'm 5
You know how some things suddenly become popular at school — everyone's talking about a new game, a new song, or a new trend? Social Trends is like having someone who listens to all the conversations on the internet (Reddit, Twitter, TikTok) and tells you "Hey, everyone's suddenly talking about [this thing] in your market." It helps you spot what's getting hot before it goes mainstream.

What Does It Do?

Social Trends aggregates trending discussions and topics from four major platforms, updated every hour. It tracks mention volume, sentiment (positive/negative/neutral), engagement velocity (how fast something is growing), and identifies the driving communities and influencers. The AI categorizes trends by relevance to your tracked markets and industries.

Why It Matters

Early signal detection — social media trends often precede market movements by weeks or months
Consumer sentiment — understand how real people feel about products, companies, and markets (not just what analysts say)
Content strategy — trending topics tell you what to write about, tweet about, and create marketing campaigns around
Crisis detection — negative sentiment spikes for your brand or competitor alert you to emerging PR issues
Product validation — Reddit and TikTok discussions reveal unmet needs and pain points that traditional research misses

Pro Tip
Use Social Trends alongside News Intelligence for a complete picture. News tells you what happened; Social Trends tells you what people thinkabout it. When a news story and a social trend align (e.g., EU mandate news + TikTok charging anxiety), you've found a high-conviction market signal.
